This book was written by the only journalist to go on the project. it gives another viewpoint from that of Kieth Jessop in his account 'Goldfinger', and the two should be read to get an overall picture of a fantastic bit of marine recovery.

If you want a good balance on accounts about this historic recovery the Rik Whartons, ‘Salvage of the Century’ is a better read.
The Penrose book was removed from sale in the UK by court order. I obtained a copy from the States to read. Having read alll 3 books, the 2 Wharton and Jessop books are the best.
