		<description>Thanks for the good overview of the event but there&#039;s a bit of a glaring error in the description of the velocity of the 12 inch guns: &quot;Each shell weighed over nine hundred pounds, so when the Konig roared, over nine thousand pounds of armour piecing high explosive hurtled through the air at over thirty feet per second.&quot; Should read &quot;...about 2400 feet per second.&quot; I believe you will find this is a somewhat better approximation of the muzzle velocity. 30 feet per second is the speed of a fast bicycle.</description>
